Sultry, Smoldering Wild Loose Black Tea
We love everything about this twisted leaf highly aromatic, smoked tea. It is the Nectar of the Gods! Similar to what one may experience while drinking Lapsang Souchong, this sultry pine wood smoked tea is sourced from a small bio-dynamic grower in India. This tea has a complex flavor profile with sweet and savory tones and a bit of muscatel flavor. It is processed like other black teas, however the final stage for this tea is to smoke it over pine wood., yielding a smoky flavor. This tea is one great for drinking or for blending cocktails - Teanis & Teatails. And grill masters use it as a dry rub or create a brine for grilling with it.
How to Steep Sultry Smoldering Wild Tea:
4 grams of Wild Tea per 8oz (240ml) of fresh water
Bring fresh water to 200 degree F
Steep 3-4 minutes -
Good for 2 - 3 infusions. This tea has a profile with multiple notes. Each infusion will release more notes.
